Low- Rise Missing Middle Homeownership Accelerator Program

The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning’s (DCP) Housing Policy Unit and Urban Design Studio are requesting proposals from a pre-qualified consultant to help lead a Low-Rise Missing Middle program, which will include the development of low-rise massing studies and site planning tools, code amendments, environmental analysis, outreach and educational materials for property owners, and design standards for Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), small lot subdivisions, duplex, triplex, fourplex, and other models of low-scale, urban infill residential development. This program will require specialized contractual services in architecture, urban design, community engagement, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)analysis, software development and web design, and potentially other subject matter expertise.This Task Order Solicitation (TOS) is only for pre-qualified on-call consultants from the 2019 Request for Qualifications (RFQ) on Planning & Urban Design, Marketing & Strategic Communications, and Public Engagement.
