Los Angeles County Take Action LA Community Grants RFP

CalMHSA is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Los Angeles County Take Action LA Community Grants Program.

CalMHSA, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) and supported by the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) funding, is seeking mission-oriented, diverse, and innovative Los Angeles County-based partner organizations to support the residents of Los Angeles County during May is Mental Health Month in 2026. Grants will be provided to support community events that promote mental health awareness and wellbeing.

Interested community-based organizations (CBOs) will submit applications for a one-time innovative or series of events (maximum two in-person; one virtual) in Los Angeles County. All awards are based on available funding.

All grant applications must be submitted to the CalMHSA e-procurement portal by Jan. 14, 2026. Please see the full Request for Proposals on CalMHSA’s e-procurement site .
