LONG TERM LEASE FOR ONE (1) ARTICULATED HAUL TRUCK - KIEFER LANDFILL

Full service long term lease for one (1) new unused Articulated Haul Truck, that must be manufactured within twelve months of the Proposal date. The loader will be used for operations at the County’s Kiefer Landfill, and other locations as the County requires.

The County began operating Kiefer Landfill (KLF) using County forces and equipment. For 46 years, the County maintained the equipment it used at the landfill, used it for expected and anticipated life and then sold as surplus. This created extended downtimes and operation shut downs. To ensure that KLF operations continue and that the County remains in compliance with regulations, it is necessary for the Department of Waste Management and Recycling (DWMR) to move into full service leases for economy and efficiency.
