1. Introduction
The City of Gallatin is seeking sealed bids for the supply of chemicals, seed, fertilizer, and sand
for Long Hollow Golf Course. All bids must be submitted by Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2:00
PM. Bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as follows: Bid for
Chemicals, Seed, Fertilizers, and Sand
2. Vendor Requirements
The following requirements must be met or exceeded by all bidders:
Specification Compliance: All items must meet or exceed the specified unit
requirements.
Pricing: All pricing should include delivery and any applicable freight charges (all-
inclusive pricing).
Duration: Pricing must be valid for a period of one (1) year.
Pricing Sheet: A completed pricing sheet must accompany the bid.
3. Evaluation of Proposals
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Completeness of Response: Bidders must submit all requested information and
documentation.
Cost: Competitive pricing will be a key factor in evaluation.
Quality of Service: The level of customer service and responsiveness demonstrated by
the bidder.
Quality of Product: The quality and effectiveness of the products offered.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder who meets the
required specifications, quality standards, and performance requirements, in accordance with the
Municipal Purchasing Act of 1983.

4. Contract Award
The City of Gallatin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or
irregularities found therein. The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria
outlined above. If the lowest bidder is unavailable at the time of need, the City reserves the right
to proceed with the next lowest bidder.
