Description

The 31st Contracting Squadron is conducting market research in support of operational contract support and contingency planning. We are seeking information from local contractors, suppliers, and service providers regarding their ability to provide commodities, equipment, personnel, and services during contingency operations.

For purposes of this request, “local” means an organization capable of providing the requested commodities or services within the area of operations at Aviano Air Base, Italy, or capable of delivering or performing at Aviano Air Base within 48 hours of notification, subject to availability, applicable legal requirements, and mission conditions.

This request is for planning and information-gathering purposes only. It is not a solicitation, request for quotation, or request for proposal. Responses will not result in the award, modification, or termination of any contract and will not affect future contract requirements, source selections, or evaluations. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting information. The Government may use the information received to support acquisition planning and identify available commercial capabilities.

Any other information that would help the Government understand your organization’s ability to support contingency operations.

Respondents are not required to submit pricing, technical proposals, or detailed contract terms. Respondents should avoid submitting proprietary or business-sensitive information. If such information is necessary to describe a capability, it should be clearly marked as proprietary or business sensitive.

The Government may use responses to identify available commercial capabilities and inform future planning. Submission of a response does not create an obligation for the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.

Respondents do not need to provide all of the commodities or services identified in this request to submit a capability statement. Responses addressing one or more individual supply classes, service categories, or specific capabilities are encouraged.
