Bid Description:
The Town of Barre is seeking sealed bids from qualified equipment dealers for the purchase of one (1) new, unused 3.5 cubic yard bucket loader for use by the Highway Department. The intent of these specifications is to establish the minimum acceptable standards for equipment performance, reliability, durability, operator safety, and long-term municipal serviceability. The Town seeks a loader that is well suited to the unique operational demands of municipal highway maintenance, including snow removal, road maintenance, material handling, and year-round public works operations. Bidders are encouraged to propose equipment that meets or exceeds the specifications contained herein while providing the greatest overall value to the Town.
