SUNY Alfred intends to purchase a SKYJACK SJ843 TH WITH CAB Loadall from the Sourcewell contract pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price.

Specifications:

• Carriage - 48" Floating Pin (Standard)
• Pallet Forks - 2" x 4" x 48"
• Cab - Enclosed
• Diesel Engine - 74hp Deutz TCD2.2L
• Tires - Foam Filled Rough Terrain - 13 x 24 (standard)

Trade-in to off-set cost of new equipment:

• JCB Loadall 550 (fully depreciated and at end of life).
