Little River Levee South End Maitenance

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Little River Levee South End Maintenance” will be received by the Purchasing Director at the City Hall, Purchasing Department, 59 Court Street, Westfield, MA 01085 until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 21, 2025 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Little River Levee Repair, Bid No. 25-033”.

The work consists of clearing and grubbing, removal of stumps and associated root balls, backfill and compaction with specified materials, embankment regrading and partial reconstruction, loam and seed, and installation of erosion control blankets. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, 39M as amended.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.
