Sealed bids will be received by Swarthmore Borough, via the PennBID Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/) until 10:00 o’clock AM, prevailing time, on the 30th day of October 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly open and read for the construction of:
LITTLE CRUM CREEK PARK RESTROOM
CONTRACT NO. 2025-02

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
The project includes the installation of a new sanitary sewer lateral, water service line, electrical service, pavement restoration, curb restoration, lawn restoration, and site preparation and grading for proposed prefabricated restroom including coordination and assistance with onsite structure placement and utility connections.
This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
