Litter Truck Dump Body

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online by the Borough of West Chester via PennBid until Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted via PennBid for the following:
BOROUGH OF WEST CHESTER – LITTER TRUCK BODY
The Borough of West Chester is requesting a lump sum bid for a Contractor to fabricate and install a complete and operational dump body assembly including lifting mechanism onto an existing 2024 Ford F350 XL chassis.
Bid Documents will be available on PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Messages/Vendor Discussions” feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of the Borough of West Chester, or a Bid Bond in favor of the Borough of West Chester in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay a satisfactory Performance Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.
No bid may be withdrawn within twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time of the bid opening or within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. The Borough of West Chester reserves the right to reject any, and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
