Lititz Borough 2026 Paving Project

Project Description: LITITZ BOROUGH 2026 PAVING: Project consists of repaving Front Street totaling approx. .25 mile. This project will also include removal and, replacement of marked concrete curbs per Boro specs.

Bids will be accepted electronically until 2:30 PM, Tuesday March 24, 2026, via PennBid (www.pennbid.net) only. The bid results will be available for viewing at the Pennbid website after 3:00 PM March 17th. Successful bidder will be selected by Owner at a later date.
Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online, without charge, at www.pennbid.net. Questions will be accepted until 9:00 AM, Friday March 20, 2026. All questions must be submitted through PennBid.
All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Borough reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids.
All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2016, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must pre-qualify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if Bidder subsequently undertakes the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified.
The Borough has determined that this work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P. S. §§ 165-1 - 165-17 ) and the Contractor shall pay at least the wage rates as determined in the decision of the Secretary of Labor and Industry and shall comply with the conditions of the act approved August 15, 1961, and the regulations issued thereto, to assure the full and proper payment of the rates.
