  • Summary It is the City's intent to enter a one (1) year term contract, beginning January 1, 2026, for liquid sodium hypochlorite. Deliveries will be made by order releases "as required" from the requesting departments/divisions. Emergency deliveries shall be made within twenty-four (24) hours of notification.

PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS

It is the intent of the City of Kalamazoo Public Services Department – Water Reclamation Plant to enter a one-year term contract to purchase 12% minimum by volume of NaOCI liquid sodium hypochlorite (bleach) on an as-needed order release basis. The material must meet the requirements and specifications of NSF APPROVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AWWA/NSF STANDARD #60.
