Liquid Nitrogen Freezers (LN2s) MVE 1426F with Magnetic Lock, TEC-3000 compatibility

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is issuing this request for quotes (RFQ) to procure up to four (4) MVE 1426F-CDC Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) vapor-phase freezers, modified to meet specific government requirements for the long-term storage of Tier 1 Select Agents within a BSL-4 environment.

The required supplies include:

  MVE 1426F-CDC Freezers with welded-on magnetic lid lock systems.

  Compatibility and integration with the CDC's in-house TEC-3000 temperature monitoring system.

  All necessary vapor platforms, sleeves, documentation (IQOQPQ), and freight for delivery.

  
  

The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price purchase order. The evaluation will be conducted using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to ensure an expedited and highly objective pathway to award.

Questions regarding this RFQ are due by 10:00 AM EST on August 14, 2026.
