NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Donna will receive sealed bids addressed to the Public Utilities

Department and submitted to the City Secretary's Office, located at 307 South 12th

Street, Donna, Texas 78537, until 3:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026, for the Supply

Contract for the Purchase of Liquid Ammonium Sulfate. Bids received after the

specified deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder

unopened. Please clearly mark the outside of the envelope: "SEALED BID."

SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF

LIQUID AMMONIUM SULFATE

Potential bidders are advised that bid documents may be downloaded from the City

of Donna website at www.cityofdonna.org or obtained from the City of Donna City

Hall Purchasing Office, 307 South 12th Street, Donna, Texas 78537. For additional

information, please call (956) 464-3314. Bidders are responsible for obtaining all

information necessary to prepare and submit a responsive bid.

All questions regarding this Request for Bids (RFB) shall be submitted to

purchasing@cityofdonna.org . Please reference the applicable bid number and bid

title in all correspondence. Electronic bids will not be accepted.

The City of Donna reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities

or irregularities, and accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the City.

The City further reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days

following the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and evaluating bidder

qualifications prior to award. Bids received after the specified date and time will not

be accepted.

LIQUID AMMONIUM SULFATE

for the furnishing and delivery of Liquid Ammonium Sulfate in accordance with the

City of Donna's specifications, excluding applicable taxes.

It is understood that the number of pounds of Liquid Ammonium Sulfate are based

on historical usage and is provided as an aid to assist bidders in providing the City of

Donna with the best unit price. Actual usage may vary up or down during the

course of the contract period. Price quoted is to remain unchanged for a period of

two years from date of award of contract. Unit prices quoted shall be F.O.B. City of

Donna and delivered to locations and exact spot (s) designated by City personnel.
