Linn County Winter Weather Shelter Upgrades Project

By direction of the Linn County, Iowa Board of Supervisors (the "Board",) in accordance with the provisions of Iowa Code Chapter 26, notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals for the Linn County Winter Weather Shelter Upgrades Project (the "Project") will be received by Linn County at the Linn County Purchasing Department located in the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center at 935 2nd Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, until 4 p.m. local time on Friday, November 22, 2024. Linn County will not consider bids received after the bid submission deadline and will return such bids unopened to the late bidder.

The Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of construction for the Project at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Board of Supervisors meeting in the Formal Board Room of the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center.

Following the public hearing, sealed bid proposals for the Project submitted by the time and date stated above will be opened and read at the Board of Supervisors meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, in the Formal Board Room of the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center.

A MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THIS PROJECT. In order for a bid to be considered, bidder or bidder’s representative must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled below.
