The City of San Marcos issoliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:

Solicitation Number: IFB 2025-174 Linda Drive Improvements, Phase 1, IFB

Scope of Project: Includes but is not limited to the replacement of approximately 4,000 LF of waterline, 3,400 LF of wastewater line, and the conversion of 6,000 LF of overhead electric underground along Linda Drive from River Road to Bugg Lane. The estimated construction cost for this project is $8,442,595.

Project Manual, plans, addenda, bid tabulation, etc., available for download at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on October 7 ^th , at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access to video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid video conference.

Bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than October 30, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included in solicitation.

Award is scheduled for the December 16, 2025, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
