SOLICIATION FOR NAMING RIGHTS TO
LINCOLN PARK GAZEBO
for the
Zionsville Board of Parks and Recreation
INTENT AND PURPOSE
The Lincoln Park Gazebo stands as one of the most recognizable and cherished landmarks
in Zionsville's park system, and the Zionsville Board of Parks and Recreation is proud to
offer a unique naming rights opportunity as part of the park's planned refresh. Steeped in
history, the site commemorates the visit of Abraham Lincoln, who is said to have stopped
in this very location, adding a layer of national significance to its local charm. Just steps
from Zionsville's iconic brick Main Street, the gazebo serves as a picturesque gathering
place that has long been woven into the fabric of community life-hosting weddings,
family photos, and a wide array of special events throughout the year. This naming
opportunity represents a chance to honor that legacy while playing a vital role in preserving
and enhancing one of the town's most beloved public spaces for generations to come.
Proposals for naming rights to the Lincoln Park Gazebo may be emailed to the
Superintendent of Parks and Recreation at jlogsdon@zionsville-in.gov and will be accepted
through 3:00 p.m. EST on August 1, 2026. The Zionsville Board of Parks and Recreation
is seeking a minimum donation of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), with an
anticipated term of twenty-five (25) years. All maintenance, replacement, and ongoing care
of the gazebo, including associated signage, will remain the responsibility of the Zionsville
Parks and Recreation Department throughout the duration of the agreement. Final terms of
the naming rights agreement with the selected donor will be negotiated and presented to the
Zionsville Park Board for final approval.
In recognition of this significant investment, the selected donor will be granted exclusive
naming rights to the gazebo. This includes prominent recognition in all Parks Department
and Town of Zionsville communications and marketing materials related to the facility,
dedicated on-site signage, and an annual exclusive reservation of the park for donor-hosted
gatherings or special events.
