PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) of

Light Service Vehicle Wheeled (LSVW) Transmission with Torque Converters to carry out all

necessary processes required to return the items to a fully serviceable condition. The work

includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, overhaul, reassembly, calibration, testing, and

packaging & preservation process. The following items will be required to be serviced:

Transmission with Torque Converter 40 EA, 2520-21-910-8777,

Shipping and Storage Container 40 EA, 8145-21-910-7513,

also, with a repair cost for beyond the economical repair (BER) of light service vehicle with wheels

(LSVW)

The work under this requirement will be carried out over a 2-year period from the effective date of the

contract award.

The crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Debriefings

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the

request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid

solicitation process. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

A contracting officer can use limited tendering for specific reasons outlined in the applicable trade agreements. The reason for this contract is described below:
