Summary

RTD is seeking the replacement of rack mounted UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) batteries in Light Rail Data Center, Data Closets, and Communications Huts along the alignments. This project will prioritize the replacement of the oldest batteries that no longer provide 8 or more hours of offline power substitution in the event of a local power loss. The newly created maintenance schedule will schedule battery replacements at a rate of 1 comm house per month over a 5-year cycle.
