Lift Stations 2, 3, & 15 Rehabilitation

Sealed bids for construction of LS 2, 3 & 15 Rehabilitation project will be received until Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Office of the City Engineer, 411 W. Jackson St, Thomasville, GA 31792 at which time & place they will be publicly opened & read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The complete Advertisement for Bids may be viewed at on the GPR or the City of Thomasville website. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed utility contractor by the State of GA. See Section 00200 Instructions to Bidders for additional requirements. Sub-contractors must be licensed in the State of GA and follow and comply with the Rules and Regulations of the State of GA. The work shall generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed project and consists of the rehabilitation of three (3) existing lift station sites with new pumps, controls, electrical work, and other miscellaneous work; replace/rehab approx. 2,000 LF of existing 15/18 gravity sewer; replace an existing 12" force main; replace existing 4" force main; abandon/remove existing infrastructure and lift station equipment; tree removal and clearing & grubbing; traffic control; & erosion control. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% of the amount bid. Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review only at the City Engineer's Office.
