Scope of Work Summary – Dania Beach Lift Station No. 11 Rebuild and Resiliency Project
The City of Dania Beach will undertake the Dania Beach Lift Station No. 11 Rebuild and Resiliency Project to replace and modernize a critical component of the city's wastewater infrastructure. This project involves the complete demolition of the existing submersible wastewater lift station, which has not been upgraded in many years, and the construction of a new station that meets current FEMA elevation and resiliency standards. The new facility will include updated control systems and a dedicated emergency backup generator to enhance operational reliability, especially during extreme weather events. Lift Station No. 11 serves as a vital transmission point for the sewer system along Dania Beach Boulevard, making this upgrade essential to maintaining uninterrupted service.
The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish the existing lift station and install a new submersible wastewater lift station with associated controls, SCADA systems, electrical components, flow meter vault, gravity sewer connections, sanitary manholes, force main piping and fittings. Additional work will include start-up and commissioning services, operator training, full site restoration, and the restoration of any impacted roadways and rights-of-way. The successful execution of this project will require close coordination with the City of Dania Beach and the project engineer to ensure all work is completed to specification and within the project timeline.
