NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF LAUDERHILL is seeking sealed bids for the following work as specified:

Lift Station #5

The City of Lauderhill will be accepting sealed proposals until 10:45 A.M. on November 7, 2024. All proposal shall be submitted via IonWave https://lauderhill.ionwave.net/

Proposals received after 10:45 A.M. EST will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

The City of Lauderhill Public Works Department is seeking proposals from a General Contractor for the rehabilitation of Lift Station No. 5. The rehabilitation consists of converting the current dry/wet well configuration into a submersible pump station.

This upgrade includes converting the existing 6-feet diameter wet well into the new receiving manhole, partially demolish the existing dry well, the installation of a new valve vault with 6-inch discharge piping and a new 8-feet ID wet well, as well as the installation of a new control panel and electrical equipment. This upgrade will improve the reliability, operability, efficiency, and safety of Lift Station No. 5 and will extend the useful life of the station.

The lift station No.5 is located on the north side of NW 16th Street, approximately 430 linear feet east from the NW 38th Avenue.

Contract Documents may be examined and obtained on and after October 9, 2024 at the IonWave https://lauderhill.ionwave.net/ . Vendors who obtain solicitation documents from other sources than IonWave are cautioned that the solicitation package may be incomplete. Furthermore, all addendums will be posted and disseminated by the Finance/Purchasing Department via IonWave.

Responsible questions regarding this BID offering may be submitted via IonWave. The last date for questions pertaining to this proposal is ten days before the due date. Questions after this date will not be answered.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for October 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 5581 W Oakland Park Blvd, Lauderhill, FL 33313 which may be immediately followed by a site visit

Per Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, the City of Lauderhill ( “ CITY ” ) will not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.

The Public Entity Crimes Affidavit must be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the bid.
