LIFT PILOT LIFT FOR MEDIUM TRACTOR

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development intends to purchase 1 Life Essentials Pilot Lift with radio control for a John Deere 7420 farm tractor for a VRS client in order to transfer from wheelchair to the lift seat on the ground and raise into their tractor cab and transfer into the driver seat to operate tractor.

This procurement has been determined to be a single source purchase because Life Essentials is the only vendor that can provide this lift because their lift will put the user into the cab to transfer into driver seat. Control interface requires
minimal dexterity, can be converted to joystick control, and the lift seat remains on the lift during operation; no other supplier offers such options to accommodate the required dexterity.
