Life Flight Hangar Enterprise Airport

Sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Enterprise Life Flight Hangar will be received at the Enterprise City Hall Conference Room at 501 South Main Street, until 10:00 a.m., local time, on October 14 ^th , 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.

A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for October 2 ^nd , 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time, in the Enterprise Municipal Airport Conference Room at 863 Aviation Boulevard. Attendance is not mandatory.  Prequalification is not required.

The Project consists of constructing one 80’ x 80’ hangar that will include an 80’ x 20’ living quarter, and paving of the hangar apron.

Call prior to picking up documents to ensure availability. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding Documents including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Alabama and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid.

No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.

All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Alabama Contractor's Licensing Act.

The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid.

This project will be funded in part by a grant provided by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), Aeronautics Bureau, and local matching fund.

The project will be administered in compliance with Alabama state law regarding sales and use taxes. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a certificate of exemption from the Alabama Department of Revenue for purchases of materials and other tangible property made part of the project. Any subcontractors purchasing materials or other tangible personal property as part of the project shall also be responsible for obtaining a certificate of exemption.

The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
