The U.S. Embassy Brasilia requires design and construction services to renovate the existing official diplomatic residence. The successful offeror shall provide design and construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe. All required construction services shall be performed including furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services required to complete the life cycle renovation in Brasilia, Brazil.
Key renovation requirements include the construction of a new garage and adjustment to the front fence to accommodate two large SUVs, along with an open-concept kitchen design that connects to the living and dining rooms, in compliance with applicable safety codes and ADA regulations. The layout will be reconfigured to include three suites and a master suite, and the entire electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems will be replaced. The project will also include the installation of new TV and data systems, lighting, solar water heating systems with heat pumps for the pool, and a new LPG system for the kitchen, laundry, and flash heaters.
