Internal Air Flow System for Two Servers at DFAS Cleveland

DFAS, Contract Services Directorate is seeking sources for annual maintenance for two (2) High Volume Server Rack Air IAFS – Internal Air Flow System for rack-fans, chips, RAM and motherboard. Conditioning airflow inside server chassis units located at 555 E. 88th Street, Bratenahl, OH 44108. These are Liebert - manufactured units and require qualified (certified) systems vendors for maintenance. They need to maintain climate-controlled environments for sensitive information technology equipment to prevent failure or damage to both equipment and data. The maintenance plan required is the Liebert Pre-Packaged Essential Service Plan for on-site support from a qualified (certified) systems vendor to assure the equipment functions properly and protects the valuable computer equipment and personnel in those areas.

Services shall include:

• Guaranteed eight (8)-hour on-site emergency response, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day, within 150 miles of a Liebert Services’ Service city.


• Four (4) PM inspections scheduled by the customer between 7am- 4pm, Monday-Friday, (excluding national holidays).


• 1-800-LIEBERT Customer Response Center.


• 100% labor and travel coverage for emergency service 7 days/week, 24 hours/day (within the 48 contiguous states).


• 100% parts coverage (excluding piping external from the unit, replacement of outdoor condensing unit, components showing physical damage, component failure due to irregular voltage conditions, pumps external to the unit, fire suppression system, network panels external to the unit, and leak detection panels) Rental of temporary spot coolers is also excluded.


• Access to Liebert Customer Services Network On-Line Internet portal.


• Performance by Liebert Factory Trained Technicians.


• Prior to acceptance of full-service contract, all applicable equipment must be inspected and brought up to a minimum service level. This work is completed outside the full-service contract and is performed on a time and material basis.


• Be subject to all Terms & Conditions as noted in the Liebert Services Terms & Conditions.
