LiDAR Mapping Services

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to contract with a consultant to provide professional services for a high resolution airborne Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) Mapping.

The County of Mendocino seeks high-resolution airborne LiDAR data to support wildfire mitigation planning, enforcement of defensible space, vegetation management, and emergency preparedness. This data will enhance terrain and vegetation analysis for Brooktrails Township, the Upper Sherwood Road Corridor, Sherwood Valley Indian Reservation, and critical infrastructure near the City of Willits.

Vendors must submit Three (3) copies of their proposal:  Two (2) complete paper copies with original Vendor signature, and One (1) complete copy on USB Flash Drive.   The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.  Promotional materials may be attached but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP.  Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP No. 026-25”, and delivered by 2:00 p.m., September 12, 2025 to:

Late or facsimile proposals will not be accepted.  It is the proposer’s responsibility to assure that its proposal is delivered and received at the location specified herein, on or before the date and hour set.  Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered.  Note: The unauthorized use of the County’s official logo is strictly prohibited.
