Library Replacement Flooring Project

The City of Attleboro invites sealed bids for Library Replacement Flooring Project located at 74 N Main St, Attleboro, MA, in accordance with M.G.L. c.149, section 44, Bidders shall be DCAMM Certified in Floor Covering.  The Request For Bid may be downloaded from the City of Attleboro’s website @ http://www.cityofattleboro.us/Bids.aspx or picked up in person at Attleboro City Hall Budget & Administration Office. Sealed bids are due August 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. to Attleboro City Hall, Attn:  Mason Lord, Director of Budget & Administration, 2 ^nd Flr, 77 Park St, Attleboro, MA 02703. Contractors are invited to a Pre bid meeting scheduled for July 23, 2025 @ 10:30 a.m. at the Attleboro Public Library.

The  bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond of the total bid with a corporate surety approved by the Owner (City of Attleboro).  All bids for this project are subject to applicable M.G.L. c.149, §44A through 44J, as amended. Prevailing wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 through 27H inclusive.

All General Contractors must submit a Certificate of Eligibility in Floor Covering from Capital Asset Management with the latest revised Commonwealth of Massachusetts,  Division  of   Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) Update Statement.

No bid maybe withdraw for a period of thirty (30) days from the date and time of the bid opening Saturdays, Sundays, and legal Holidays excluded unless by mutual consent of the parties.

The City may reject any and all proposals if it considers such to be in the best interest of the City of Attleboro. The City may also waive any informalities with respect to any proposal which can be waived or corrected without prejudice to any other proposer.
