NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:

Library Renovations

At 11:00 A.M., Prevailing Time on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original, two (2) copies, and a digital  copy on a USB drive of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “ITB 25-07: SEALED BID FOR Library Renovations”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Intent

The general scope of work for this project is adding spaces to the interior stacks area of the Lake Wales Public Library located at 290 Cypress Gardens Lane, Lake Wales, FL 33853. The General Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the remodel/renovation of the existing stacks area by adding spaces for a Librarian, Closet, Teen Resource, and two (2) Conference Areas separated by paired panel movable wall.

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response.
