Description

The James Madison Memorial Building, part of the Library of Congress complex is the national monument to the fourth U.S. president, James Madison. The building opened in 1980, and it houses multiple public and ceremonial venues, including the Montpelier Room, Dining Room A, Dining Room C, and West Dining Room in the James Madison Building (collectively “Rooms” individually a “Room”), which are used for events, meetings, and presentations. The current systems in each of these spaces are original to the building’s construction and have been inoperable for decades and are no longer able to support the functionality required for public and official events. The Library requires a contractor to provide audio and video equipment and presentation lecterns for the Rooms. This audiovisual upgrade project will modernize the audio amplification systems and lecterns in the Rooms. Contractor shall remove existing equipment and provide, deliver, and install audiovisual equipment and presentation lecterns for the Library of Congress.
