Considerations for Interested Vendors:




  1. Ensure that the physical location of the transitional housing site is in accordance with the city of Lexington’s zoning requirements for that area.

  2. Verify if the transitional housing site is within a residential neighborhood governed by a Homeowners Association. If so, verify that the HOA will allow a transitional housing site within that neighborhood.

  3. If a vendor plans to provide a transitional housing location for veterans on the sex offender registry, please ensure that the location meets all requirements as defined in KRS 17.545. Please see attached KRS 17.545

  1. Please ensure that the physical location of the transitional housing site will meet all criteria as defined in the attached Health Care for Homeless Veterans CRS Programs Inspection Packet.

  2. Ensure that your organization has registered on Sam.gov
