Salient Characteristics Leica DM2700 Brand Name or Equal:

Must be a polarized light microscope (PLM) designed specifically for transmitted light asbestos analysis.

Must have a trinocular optical head compatible with digital imaging systems.

Must have strain‑free, infinity‑corrected optics with centerable objectives suitable for PLM (e.g., 4x–40x).
