Legal Services for Retirement Systems

Project Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit proposals to establish a contract or contracts for the provision of legal due diligence services and other legal services (as needed) from attorneys in private practice with respect to the management and investment of funds by the Fairfax County Retirement Systems. Attorneys selected to do this work will carry the primary legal responsibility for all assignments under the contract. Each matter or potential transaction requiring legal services must be approved in advance by the County Attorney and will be coordinated with the Office of the County Attorney (OCA). The OCA will participate in the engagement to the extent appropriate and will require Counsel to advise it on issues as they arise.
