Legal Services for Aging Adults

Project Description: The purpose of this contract is to increase access and availability of Legal Services for Montgomery County older adults.
MCOAS expects that the provision of programs and services under this contract will fulfill one or more of the following goals for Montgomery County residents:
1. To allow seniors to remain in their own homes and to live independently in the community as long as possible, resulting in delay/avoidance of institutionalization;
2. To facilitate and improve access to a broad array of services which address the varied needs of older adults;
3. To protect older adults from conditions threatening their safety and well-being, including abuse, financial exploitation, neglect, and abandonment.
