Lease, Operation, Maintenance, And Improvement of City Baseball Complex RFP

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LEASE, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND IMPROVEMENT OF CITY BASEBALL COMPLEX

The City of Wolfforth, Texas ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals, organizations, companies, sports management firms, tournament operators, or other entities ("Proposer") interested in leasing, operating, maintaining, programming, and improving the City's five-field baseball complex ("Complex").

The City's objective is to enter into an agreement with an experienced and financially capable operator who will maximize the use and community value of the Complex, maintain the facility to a high standard, attract leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, practices, and other appropriate activities, and make meaningful and continuing capital investments in the Complex.

The City intends for the selected operator to assume primary responsibility for the successful operation of the Complex while protecting the City's ownership and long-term investment in the property.

The successful Proposer will be required to enter into a five-year lease agreement with the City. Following the initial five-year term, the lease may provide for annual extensions upon terms agreed to by the City and the lessee.

Submission Instructions

Deadline: RFPs must be received no later than November 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

Copies: Respondents shall submit one (1) original paper copy marked "ORIGINAL” and one (1) electronic copy on USB drive or via trobinette@wolfforthtx.us in searchable PDF format.

Delivery Address: City Secretary, City of Wolfforth, 302 Main St Wolfforth, Texas 79382. The outside of the sealed package shall be plainly marked: "RFP No. 2027-001 — Baseball Park — DO NOT OPEN."

Questions: All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Terri Robinette, City Secretary at trobinette@wolfforthtx.us no later than November 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Responses will be issued by written addendum posted on the City's website. Respondents shall not contact members of the City Council, City staff, or the selection committee concerning this RFQ other than through the designated procurement contact; such contact may result in disqualification.
