Lease of Space for Wireless Communication Facilities

Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 30B, Section 16, the City of Marlborough through its City Council seeks sealed proposals from licensed FCC carriers to lease a portion of two City-owned water tanks, the Sligo Hill Historical Water Tank located at 97 Arnold Street Extension in Marlborough, MA as shown on Assessors’ Map 68, Parcel 80, and the Fairmount Hill Water Tank, 115 Onamog Street in Marlborough, MA as shown on Assessors’ Map 81, Parcel 238 for installation of Wireless Communications Facilities (“WCF”) in accordance with the City’s Zoning Ordinance. The City seeks qualified entities for the non-exclusive installation and maintenance of wireless telecommunications antennas and related equipment, including ground space for supporting equipment in maintenance shelters or cabinets. The proposal packages are available at the Procurement Office website www.marlborough-ma.gov/bids , or by email request to kholmi@marlborough-ma.gov as of September 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM, and proposals will be accepted at the Procurement Office, 140 Main Street, 3rd Floor, Marlborough, MA 01752 until 11:00:00 AM on *October 28, 2024 (*Extended to Nov. 12), when all proposals will be publicly opened. Submission details are included in the Request for Proposal Documents. Questions concerning the Requests for Proposals must be submitted in writing to: Krista Holmi c/o Procurement Office as noted above. The City of Marlborough reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposals or reject in whole or in part any or all proposals, to waive any informality and to accept the proposal(s) deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
