Questions and Answers:
1) How many bus bars are to be provided by the Contractor? Please refer to Section 5.3 of the Performance Work Statement.
2) Is there a recommended fuel tak size (volume capacity)? Please refer to Section 5.11 through 5.12 of the Performance Work Statemet.
3) How many amps is the circuit breaker on base for the generator? For Hotel Power to the generator for the battery charger and water jacket heater maintenace is 30A. For output from the generator, the Contractor must be able to provide per Section 5.0 of the PWS. Of partiduclar relevance for output amerage, please review Section 5.1 through 5.3.1 of the PWS.
4) Will the unit be fueled when it is returned to the Contractor? The generator will be returned with the ramining fuel. This generator is for stanby power only and a refueling plan will be in place during the Period of Performance.
5) Is the solicitation a new requirement set by the Government or is this a Contract currently being performed that the Government is reneweing. If this is a renewal, do you have a Contract Number assosicated with the old contract? This is a new requirment set by the Government.
6) Item 9 - CLIN 0001 the quantity is 9 based on the dates shouldn't it be 10 months? The Period of Performance is 281 days or 9 months and 8 days. The Government decided to set the quantity at 9 months. Please adjust pricing to accommodate a 9 month period of performance.

The successful Contractor that is awarded the contract, will be required to coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative to fill out the required security forms for base access. Please review the forms, attachments 4-6.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
