NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

CITY OF LE MARS,  24 ^th ST. BRIDGE REPAIR

Sealed proposals will be received by the CITY OF LE MARS — CITY HALL, 40 Central Avenue SE, Le Mars, IA 51031 until 1:00 p.m. on the 8th day of April 2026, for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to complete all work designated as Le Mars 24th Street Bridge Repair as per plans and specifications for such work are available at City Hall or by contacting the design engineer at For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.. The PROJECT consists of:

Replacement of drainage trough, concrete cleaning, structural steel repair and cleaning, traffic control, and associated incidental work.

Contractors shall submit item bid prices for all work associated with the construction plans and specifications.

All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the ENGINEER and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the City of Le Mars as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith.

No bidder may withdraw the submitted proposal for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The City of Le Mars reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities.
