#LB 25-004 Abatement & Demolition of Residential and Commercial Structures in Genesee County Michigan

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) for Abatement & Demolition of Residential and Commercial Structures in Genesee County. Proposals will be received from pre-qualified contractors on GCLBA’s Bidder’s List at GCLBA main office located at 452 S. Saginaw St, 2nd Floor, Flint, MI 48502, until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the bid number. All bids received will be opened and publicly read aloud.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site (4201 Clio Road, Mt. Morris Township, Michigan) on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 am.

The above referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF), 31 CFR Part 35, as amended. All successful bidders must comply with federal labor standards, which may include the Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback legislation, and federal equal opportunity requirements.

Minority and Woman business owned enterprises (MBE/WBE) and Section 3 business concerns seeking bid opportunities under this Project Notice are encouraged to respond.

The GCLBA reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, omit bid items, negotiate any part of the bid, or accept any bid that is considered most favorable to GCLBA. Bidders can request access Environmental Site Assessments, maps, and Pre-demolition surveys by emailing requests to jrobbins@thelandbank.org . Respondents will be invited to review information via Box.com. Bidders are not required to purchase a membership with Box.com, but should create a free account.

GCLBA would like to inform bidders that bidding opportunities for 25-002 and 25-003 will be posted at a later date.

The following information is to be incorporated into the bidding and contract documents and acknowledged by all bidders for the above referenced project. Bids submitted that do not acknowledge this Addendum will be deemed incomplete and may be rejected on such basis.
