INVITATION FOR BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois that sealed bids will be received for the following contract:
Lawn Maintenance, Areas #1 - #10: Park Forest, Illinois
The Village of Park Forest anticipates contracting for the furnishing of all equipment and labor to conduct mowing, grass trimming and related lawn maintenance operations for the 2025 season in and around downtown Park Forest and other designated locations. The quantities, frequencies or operations listed are to be considered as minimum standards and do not limit the Contractor's responsibility to provide a quality finished product.
This contract will be in effect for the 2025 mowing season and renewable for up to two additional years with the agreement of both the Village of Park Forest and the contractor.
Bidders are expected to make themselves thoroughly familiar with the work through onsite inspection and to provide a written narrative describing how the work will be conducted and the equipment that will be used throughout the season.
Bids are sought for ten (10) separate areas and will be awarded upon consideration of the bid amount for each area, the written narrative and the response from the references provided. It is our intent to award this contract to a single bidder, although the Village reserves the right to award the contract in its best interest.

The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Village. The successful bidder shall carry and maintain the required insurance as outlined in APPENDIX A.

The Village reserves the right to refuse to issue plans, bid forms, and specifications to any person, firm, or corporation that it considers to be unqualified. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids, and to make such award as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Village.
