SCOPE OF WORK
The following outlines the scope of work for this project.
Materials to Purchase
Dell Optiplex 24” All-In-One Computer
Ethernet Cable (amount to be determined by contractor)
Contractor Responsibilities
The following is a list of tasks the contractor is responsible to complete.
Sub-contract Securitas to create a new Stanley Commander Station to monitor the 6100 and 7100 blocks
(Commander is a proprietary system and Securitas will need to complete this work)
Provide Securitas the purchased computer so they can configure it to the system
Run category 6 cable between the CMS office on the LEC first floor to the IDF room in the 2nd floor mezzanine.
Create a new network jack in the office for the run.
Install the All-In-One computer returned from Securitas onto the CMS office desk and plug into the new network
jack for communication.
Dakota County Staff Responsibilities
The following is a list of tasks the county is responsible to complete for the contractor.
Provide the data port on the network switch for the contractor
Grant access to the areas to complete the work
Answer any questions which arise about the work
Schedule
May 12, 2025 – RFQ is released
May 20, 2025, 8:00 AM – Site walkthrough
May 28, 2025, 12 PM – All quotes need to be submitted.
June 5, 2025 – Contract is awarded.
June 12, 2025 – Work can begin
September 30, 2025 – Work must be completed.
** This is a tentative schedule and may be changed due extenuating circumstances. Good faith effort must be made by
the county and the associated parties to complete the work by this time before making any extension to the schedule.
Restrictions
Sub-contractors can be used for the work which they are not licensed or authorized to complete (proprietary systems,
installing conduit, trenching/boring, concrete work, etc.) but the final install of the devices should be completed by the
contracted company.
Contractor is responsible for the work of any work they subcontract.
