Drop off would be random based on ship’s schedules.

1. Based on historical data, what is the estimated weight range (in pounds) for each pick-up?

The estimated wight range for each drop off is 875 pounds.

1. Is there an incumbent contractor? If so, what was the final pricing?

Bubbles is who we were using via open purchase program. He was charging 1.75 per pound.

1. Can you provide the exact address for the place of performance?

580 USS MARIANO G. VALLEJO AVE KING'S BAY, GA 31547, Building 5060 (Will be used to calculate the 40-mile radius).

1. To confirm, will the government handle both pickup and delivery?

Yes, the government will be performing drop off and pick up services.

1. Could you please let me know the types of linen that will need laundering?

Linens sets consist of 2 sheets, a pillow case, and a CPO spread. The CPO spread is heavier than a sheet but not quite as thick as a blanket. Occasionally there may be some blankets thrown in.

1. Can the vendor pick up the laundry from your facility? I understand that you mentioned dropping it off, but I wanted to confirm.

The vendor cannot pick up or deliver to NSB Kings Bay do to security concerns.

1. Would you be open to meeting the vendor just off-campus for pickup and drop-off?

This would not be our preference but if there is a clearly defined process and the total turnaround time meets what we requested we will entertain.
