Laser Particle Size Analyzer

Binghamton University intends to purchase a laser particle size analyzer with a large-volume fluid introduction system. Required specifications are as follows:

• Measure over a size range of 0.01–3500 um
• 633 nm Helium Neon red laser and additional 10 mW 470 nm blue LED light source
• Wide angle detection system (0.015–144 degrees)
• Full version of equipment software for analyses and data interpretation
• Large volume (600 mL) automated sample tank

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) {a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service.
