Project Description: Pittsburgh Water is requesting proposals for design services for the 2026 Large Diameter Main Rehabilitation project, which entails the rehabilitation of 50-inch diameter transmission main. The scope of work will include but is not limited to leak detection and condition assessment of existing mains, rehabilitation with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Lining (CFRP) as well as pipe replacement, repair and replacement of the Pittsburgh Water public water system including water mains, valves, service connections, and hydrants as required or directed.
