The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (the SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking qualified CONTRACTORS to provide

all labor, supervision, tools, materials, necessary equipment, transportation, fertilizers, insecticides, and all other items

required to maintain, in an attractive and safe condition, landscaped areas at Administrative and School sites throughout

the East Valley, West End, and Desert/Mountain regions of San Bernardino County.

All proposals must be delivered to the Front Desk Receptionist at the address listed above and clearly marked on the

outside of the sealed envelope in the lower left-hand corner: “RFP ENCLOSED – RFP NO. 25.26.0450 – LANDSCAPING

SERVICES.”

It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to ensure the timely delivery of its proposal. Proposals will be date- and time-

stamped upon receipt. Late proposals will not be accepted. RFPs shall remain open, valid, and subject to acceptance for

a period of ninety (90) days following the RFP opening date and time.

A Bid bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) is required upon proposal submission. The awarded contractor

shall be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), to be

maintained for the duration of the contract as determined by the SUPERINTENDENT.

This RFP constitutes a public works project as defined in California Labor Code section 1720. Each contractor submitting a

proposal and all subcontractors of any tier performing work on the Project shall comply with Labor Code sections 1725.5

and 1771.1 and shall be properly registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) throughout the

duration of the Project. Certified payroll records shall be submitted in accordance with Labor Code sections 1771.4 and

1776, directly to the Labor Commissioner, at least monthly or as otherwise required.

Each proposer shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code at the time of

proposal submission and shall maintain all required licenses in active and good standing for the duration of the contract.
