LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES: CITY PARKS (EAST SERVICE AREA)

The City of Anaheim, Community Services , (hereinafter referred to as City) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES: CITY PARKS (EAST SERVICE AREA) . The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the City and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work. This is a fully electronic solicitation – only electronic bids submitted through the City’s online bidding system will be allowed; no other form of bid submittals will be accepted. Prior to submitting a bid, Bidders are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including the model contract and any solicitation attachments and/or exhibits.

City of Anaheim desires the services of qualified landscape contractors to perform monthly landscape maintenance services for the City's East Service Areas and provide as-needed services at Nature Park Sites per the Specifications and Scope of Work described in this document. The maintenance includes everything except for ball-field lighting, playground equipment, and restrooms.

Contractor must provide everything necessary at contractor’s expense including, but not limited to all labor; training; materials; tools; equipment; transportation; hauling; dumping; pesticides; chemicals; supplies and other items needed to perform high quality grounds/landscape maintenance pursuant to the terms defined here in.

Fertilizer; playground; volleyball sand; mulch and wood chips will be provided to contractor by City, Contractor must provide all grounds/landscape maintenance at work sites listed herein, including, but not limited to pruning, trimming, shaping and training of shrubs, and ground cover plants; removing and controlling weeds; controlling plant diseases and pests; mowing turf, edging turf and ground cover; irrigating plant material; maintaining and repairing irrigation systems; removing trash and debris; and other services required to maintain the work sites in a safe, attractive and useable condition.

Contractor must maintain all plant material in a healthy condition and healthy appearance using the best industry and horticultural accepted standards for growth, color, and appearance as determined by the City Representative/ City Project Manager.

Services for Nature Park sites shall be provided on an as‑needed basis at the request of the City’s designated representative. While usage is not guaranteed, tasks may include slope maintenance, mechanical brush clearance, weed abatement, and trail upkeep. Services are to be priced according to the bidder's bid pricing submittal as accepted by the City and scheduled as requested by the City Representative/ City Project Manager (CR/CPM)

1. License and Certification Requirements
   1. Bidders must have a valid California C‑27 Landscaping Contractor license when they submit their bid, and must keep that license valid for the entire length of the contract. Bidders shall submit a copy of their current and valid California Contractor’s License with their bid. Failure to possess the required license classification at the time of bid submittal may render the bid non-responsive.
   2. Have or hire subcontractors with the following:
      1. Department of Pesticide Regulation licenses/certifications (PCA/QAL/QAC)
      2. Irrigation Technician Certification
   3. Submit a copy of your current valid PWC Registration Number, CA contractor license number and classification(s) in the appropriate places in the ebid.
   4. Have qualified personnel who have prerequisite knowledge and experience to perform the required work.
   5. Have valid Certification(s) as may be required for the specific work.
