REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS for
2026-2028 LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES for
CITY STREETS, FACILITIES, AND MISCELLANEOUS LANDSCAPING WORK
for the
CITY OF LINCOLNTON, GEORGIA
Sealed proposals will be received by CITY OF LINCOLNTON, GEORGIA at City Hall, City Hall, 125 North
Peachtree Street, Lincolnton, Georgia 30817 until 4:00 P.M. local time, Monday, May 18, 2026, at which time
and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled
closing time for receipt of proposals for a period of ninety (90) days.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall 125 North
Peachtree Street, Lincolnton, Georgia.
Services to be rendered: The services to be rendered consists of providing all labor, including all materials and
equipment necessary to perform the labor for:
Street Cleaning, Grass Maintenance on curbed and non-curbed streets, removal of trash from streets,
holiday event cleaning, tree trimming, grit and trash removal from storm drains, landscape maintenance
at various city-owned locations, maintenance of planting beds along city streets, removal of curb-side yard
waste (leaf and limb) city-wide, complete with all necessary and related tasks. Contractors will be required
to enter into a two-year agreement with the City of Lincolnton to render such services.
Proposals for the complete work shall be made using the provided proposal form. The City reserves the right to
award parts of this contract to more than one firm, so be sure to list your accurate numbers for each service on
the form provided. Itemized bid numbers cannot be changed once submitted. If you are interested in bidding on
the grass maintenance for the Water Treatment Plant and the Water Pollution Control Plant only, then please mark
"N/A" for all other services.
If awarded the bid, Bidder will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond,
if required, as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for CITY OF LINCOLNTON, GEORGIA. Each
bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Proposal Bond shall be forfeited
to, or the amount of the Certified Check shall be retained by the CITY OF LINCOLNTON, GEORGIA, as
liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds, if
required, within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. The contractor is not
required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond. The City intends, however, to favor bids that
include such bonds.
Request for Proposals (RFP) documents are open to public inspection at the office of the CITY OF
LINCOLNTON.
All proposals must be submitted on the original RFP package provided. Photocopied forms will not be
read. NO FAXED OR EMAILED BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
