Landscape Architectural and Design Services

The City of Clayton (“City”), Missouri desires to retain a qualified firm (“Consultant”) to provide Landscape Architectural and Design Services for construction of an outdoor event

lawn space, pickleball courts, and additional potential site improvements in Shaw Park, located at 217 S. Brentwood Blvd., Clayton, MO 63105.

The professional services to be provided shall include architectural, structural, civil, survey, landscaping, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection services, outdoor sport courts and surfaces, as well as the surrounding park area.

Interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for consideration. The submittal should contain, at a minimum, the information requested in this Request for Qualifications.

Firms should submit an electronic PDF file with no more than twenty (20) single spaced pages excluding cover, index, letter of transmittal (maximum of two (2) pages), and required

Attachments B and C forms to tsiering@claytonmo.gov. Submittal must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Those firms submitting proposals should

request a “Read Receipt” indicating that their submittal has been received. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals.

A team of City of Clayton officials and volunteers will evaluate the submittals. If deemed necessary, a shortlist of firms will be notified for follow-up interviews to be conducted. A

recommended selection will then be made. If deemed necessary to help establish a fair and responsible cost for services, the City may request copies, (from the “selected”  Consultant), of the past five Architectural design contracts for which the Architect performed services. Any objections to this must be clarified in your response to this RFQ.

The City will not be liable for any cost which any Consultant may incur in connection with the preparation or presentation of its submittal.
