Landfill Cell 7 Construction

The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors for the Cell 7 Construction at the Newland Park Landfill (NPLF). The Newland Park Landfill is owned and operated by Wicomico County. The landfill is located at 6948 Brick Kiln Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801 and is situated on a 125-acre property. Cell 7 consists of an approximately 7-acre landfill cell and is the remaining cell within the permitted landfill footprint. The Landfill Cell 7 Construction Project is comprised of excavation and grading of Cell 7, liners, leachate collection system, anchor trenches, leachate conveyance system, landfill gas system components, SCADA control connection, and access road construction. The goal is to have Cell 7 completed and open to the public by October 1, 2026.
