Project Description: Radnor Township is soliciting sealed bids for Lancaster Avenue (East) Traffic Adaptive System Installation (Contract #B-25-004). The project consists of upgrading traffic signals along Lancaster Avenue (SR0030) to traffic adaptive from Chamounix Road/St. Road to Airdale Road. Seven (7) signals along Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030) corridor will undergo various improvements to upgrade the traffic signals to an adaptive control system, upgrade pedestrian pushbuttons and optimize the signal timings. The seven intersections are located in Radnor Township, Delaware County and are as follows:
• St. Davids/Chamounix Avenue & Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030)
• Villanova Center & Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030)
• Sproul Rd /Kenilworth Road/Spring Mill Road/Aldwyn Ln. & Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030)
• St. Thomas Way & Lancaster Avenue ( SR 0030)
• Ithan Avenue & Lancaster Avenue ( SR 0030)
• Lowry’s Lane & Lancaster Avenue ( SR 0030)
• Airdale Road & Lancaster Avenue ( SR 0030)
